The initial brief for a 3 phase feasibility study to upgrade, extend and remodel existing facilities evolved into a 6 stage proposal which also embraced the idea of a large scale re-building programme and included a totally new purpose built centre of excellence for the 21^st century as a facility for residential patients with dementia.
